• Variety show

A live-stream fundraising variety show will benefit the Community Wins! Program at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16. • Farmers market

The Key West Truman Waterfront farmers market will be open from 3 p.m. to sunset on Thursday, Oct. 15. • Mask-Querade party

Mom and Pop Businesses and the city of Key West will present a Halloween Kids Mask-Querade party from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater at the Truman Waterfront Park. Local businesses will offer Halloween-themed booths to provide treats for attendees with spooky music, scary decorations, costumed characters and surprises. Treat bags will be provided and professional photographers will capture the memories. To ensure social distancing, parents will need to secure a specifically-timed free ticket for each child 14 and younger. Entry times are limited to 100 kids per time slot starting on the half hour at 5 p.m. and ending at 7:30 pm on a first-come basis. No walkup tickets will be available. All children must be supervised by an adult and may not be dropped off unattended. Masks will be required, social-distance practiced and pets, alcohol and tobacco products not permitted. • Plogging the Keys

Walkers and joggers meet weekly to get exercise and clean up the Keys. The group will meet from 8 to 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, at the corner of Duval Street and Truman Avenue, wearing masks and socially distancing. Volunteers will get a free 24-hour bus pass. • MARC Pumpkin Patch

The annual pumpkin patch at the MARC Plant Store, 1401 Seminary St., will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 31, or until all pumpkins are sold. For information, call 305-296-9558.

• Plant sale

• Legion 5K walk

The American Legion Post Auxiliary, 5610 College Road, will host a 5K Walk for Cancer at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The $10 entry fee will benefit the Cancer Foundation of the Florida Keys.
