There was a larger-than-normal law enforcement presence at Coral Shores High School on Tuesday morning following threatening statements made by a student who has been identified and interviewed, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff’s Office concluded there was no active threat after working with the Monroe County School District, the Office of the State Attorney, and partners with the Miami-Dade Police Department, Sheriff's Office spokesman Adam Linhardt said.
