Monroe County School District Superintendent Theresa Axford has announced several administrative changes for the 2021-2022 school year.

She has placed Kelly Lanier at Poinciana Elementary School, Rebecca Palomino at Gerald Adams Elementary School, Leslie Holmes at Sugarloaf Elementary School and Kristy Munafo at Key Largo School as vice principals. Melissa Alsobrooks moves into an assistant principal role at Key West High School and Jacob Polema will be working as a Teacher on Special Assignment at Coral Shores High School, assisting with administrative duties.

“Each assistant principal who is changing roles has expressed gratitude for being given an opportunity for a new experience,” Axford said. “These changes fulfill the goal of preparing our leadership team to be ready for openings no matter where they occur. I am very happy that we were able to accomplish these moves in preparation for what should be an amazing and successful school year.”
