The Key West Cup is staying home as the Lady Conchs volleyball team went 3-1 during the two-day home event to claim the title, beating Mater Lakes, which also finished 3-1, in the final match of the tournament, 2-0 (25-20, 25-20).

Key West also defeated True North 2-0 (25-13, 25-15) and Marathon 2-0 (25-12, 25-14) but lost to Palmer Trinity 1-2 (25-16, 24-26, 13-15).

Also in action during the Conch Cup, which was hosted at the Bobby Menendez Gymnasium, the Lady ’Fins were unable to come away with a match victory, but for the first time in several years beat the Falcons in a game. Palmer would win the match 1-2 (21-25, 25-21, 15-11), to finish 2-2 tied with True North.
